Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the Modern Sky Festival China's largest music festival. At least 2 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists - one band from North America, Australia or Europe will get $4,000 USD for travel. Transportation, meals and accommodations are provided./n/nModern Sky Entertainment, producer of the Modern Sky Festival and home to China's largest independent record label, together with Sonicbids, has reserved at least two performance slots for Sonicbids artists. One slot is for a band from North America, Australia or Europe – and will be paid $4,000 for travel, courtesy of Sonicbids and Modern Sky Entertainment. The other slot will be for a band from China. The selected bands will be provided with transportation, meals and accommodations while in Beijing. Modern Sky will be working with the selected international act to get their visas.



Founded in 2007, the Modern Sky Festival is China's largest music and arts festival. The festival features 120+ bands/DJ's on three stages over a five-day period. The Modern Sky Festival 2009 is at Chaoyang Park in the heart of Beijing, October 3-7.



Past performers include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, T+T (DFA Records), Rebuilding The Rights Of Statues, and many others. In addition to live music, the festival features art installations, interactive
film/photo/fashion/action-sports events, a marketplace, and food and drink pavillion.
