Turnstyle Music Group is looking for artists to book at Uncle Mike’s in NYC. Uncle Mike’s is Manhattan’s #1 Downtown stop for live music. Uncle Mike’s stage is designed to suit musical acts of all sizes, comics, poets and DJs.
Requirements for Performing at Uncle Mike’s on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights:
You are required to bring a crowd of no less than 15.
On Thursday night the door keeps the first 10 people paid. All performers take home 100% of their draw after the first 10 people. If your show is scheduled for 12 or later you will keep 100% after the first 5 covers collected. Cover charge on Thursday night is $10.
If you would like, you can notify your booker that you'd like to set your cover charge at $5. The door will still keep the same amount of money that would be kept at a $10 cover.
On Friday and Saturday nights the door keeps the first 15 people paid from all sets that are booked from 7pm through 12. All performers take home 100% of their draw after the first 15 people. If your show is scheduled for 1am you will keep 100% after 10 covers collected. If your show is scheduled for after 1am you will keep everything after the first 5 covers collected. Cover charge on these nights is $10.
Sets are normally 45 minutes. Time slots are booked on the hour, every hour. This goes from 7pm until 3am. You will be allotted 15 minutes for every 5 people polled at the door to see your show. If you desire more playing time please inform Dan Melnick in advance so they can work something out. To avoid confusion you must advertise your show on your website or web page and give credit to TurnStyle Music Group. Please advertise your time slot as 45 minutes earlier than it really is.
