Downtown Victoria will be filled with the sights and sounds of 1,500 local, national and international performing artists, an international food village with over a dozen food kiosks offering flavours from around the world, a stage showcasing world-class chefs, a stage for acrobats and international dance performances, a craft market featuring more than 60 artisans and an ocean-front beer garden.

Please note: The festival can't cover most national and international travel costs. Therefore, for performers based outside BC and Alberta who are interested in performing at the festival, the festival suggests planning a tour which includes several bookings, or getting travel support from another source, such as your government. Every year we work with several other festivals and presenters from across the country to help develop tours for groups from a distance. You should also be contacting our key partners at Vancouver Island Musicfest, the Winnipeg Folk Festival, Harrison Festival of the Arts and the Vancouver Folk Music Festival. It is not possible for the festival to cover the costs of travel for artists from abroad to perform exclusively at our festival. In some cases, the festival can contribute towards travel costs.
