Summary
TRAKO Entertainment presents the 4th annual Gospel Search of America 2007, a talent competition and series of seminars taking place at the Friendship West Baptist Church from October 19-20, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. Gospel Search of America (GSA) is designed for all genres of Christian music, and is a 2-day event in which some of today's most prominent and influential music industry executives gather to educate, empower and discover new unsigned talent. This event will present Gospel music industry seminars, showcases, concerts, ministry, education and Christian empowerment.
The GSA competition is looking for the best Christian, traditional gospel, Christian rap, urban gospel, inspirational, and contemporary gospel solo artists and bands.
Competing artists must be unsigned, and original material is desired. Selected semi-finalists will be invited to perform with a prerecorded track at the GSA Semi-Finals, hosted by Byron Cage, during the closed industry session on Saturday, October 20, 2007. The selected finalists will be invited to perform with a live band at the GSA Finals Gospel Concert on Saturday night, October 20, 2007.
Selected artists will compete for prizes including cash, professional press kit creation, marketing/advertisement services, a chance to be shopped to major and independent labels and a performance on Bobby Jones Gospel.

Please Note: The Gospel Search of America requires all selected artists to pay an extra registration fee of $300-700, depending on the size of the group, directly to the promoter in order to participate. A 25% discount will be issued to Sonicbids artists off these prices. Detailed information will be provided upon submission.
