Summary

The Harvest Rebellion is the ultimate urban concert experience at Tompkins Square Park in New York City, and will take place on Saturday October 25th, 2008 from 12pm-6pm.



The music will include performances by Soap, The Influence, Since1913, along with at least three reserved slots for Sonicbids artists. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances at a rate to be determined upon selection and booking. Selected artists will also receive products, services, and items free of charge from the festival sponsors



Most genres are accepted, including alternative, bluegrass, blues, cajun/zydeco, Celtic, electronic, experimental, folk/traditional, freestyle, funk, gothic, indie, jazz, jam band, metal, novelty, punk, rap/hip hop, reggae, rockabilly, rock, ska, soul/R&B, swing, and world.



This public, free event features great music, dozens of tables with political action groups, alternative media, Food Not Bombs, and more. There will also be several guest speakers who will entertain and provide information about various political and environmental issues.
