The Vaudeville Mews - Des Moines, IA

The Vaudeville Mew, a premier music venue in Des Moines, is actively seeking musicians and performance artists for immediate openings for Wednesday through Saturday nights. Set lengths will be 30 – 60 minutes.

A local draw is not necessary to be booked, but is preferable. Selected artists will be compensated for their performances, and this is negotiated at the time of booking. All deals are made based on draw in the area and/or experience. Local ordinance makes our facility 21 and over only after 9pm. All age’s shows are and can be done before 9pm.

The Vaudeville books at least two months prior to the date of the show. There is no backline at the venue. A sound system, including vocal mics, monitors and a sound person is available.

Genres accepted include: rock, alternative, acoustic rock, pop, jazz, blues, alternative country and reggae. Cover bands are not hosted by the facility, as they only accept original music. Artists must have their own original music with the right to perform it.
