As one of the most widely attended music festivals that Prescott Park Arts Festival has to offer, the 4th Annual WOKQ Country Festival is a happy and warm atmosphere where 7-to-77 year-olds brush shoulders listening to world-class country music, and enjoy a complete entertainment experience for the whole family.
The WOKQ Country Festival will be held on August 2, 2008. They will be accepting submissions for performances by Sonicbids artists.
Prescott Park is located on 3.5 waterfront acres in the vibrant downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The Arts Festival has a long, (now 34 year), rich history of successfully presenting a full range of arts and culture events with no fixed admission, attracting thousands of attendees to its events each summer.
The primary objective of the Festival is to provide quality family entertainment, promote artistic excellence in the community, and maintain quality presentations of both entertainment and educational events.
