Summary

The A3C Hip-Hop Festival is celebrating their 5th Anniversary of bringing the best of all worlds of hip-hop together for one weekend in Atlanta. It is scheduled for the weekend of October 1-3, at the East Atlanta Village in Atlanta, GA.



The event will feature 30+ emerging artists as well as 10 DJs – with a minimum of 3 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. In their history, they have had over 40 Sonicbids artists perform.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performance.



Last year’s A3C was attended by over 10,000 Atlanta based Hip-Hop fans and covered by the majority of national underground hip-hop publications including BET, MTV, URB, VH1, The Source, AllHipHop.net, HipHopdx.com, XLR8R and more.



2008's performers included: The Juice Crew (Marley Marl, Biz Markie, Roxanne Shane, Big Daddy Kane, Craig G, and MC Shan), The Clipse, Little Brother, Del tha Funkee Homosapian, Wale, Jeru tha Damama, Aceyalone, Arkobatik, Guilty Simpson, B.O.B., and a host of others. We have also hosted: Souls of Mischief, Black Milk, Giant Panda, 9th Wonder, The Perceptionists, OneBeLo, Cool Calm Pete, Insight, Oddisee, Hezikiah, Doujah Raze, APSCI, DJ Lord of Public Enemy, Akil of Jurassic 5, Brother J of X-Clan, and more...



In addition to the main stage, A3C hosts a vendor area, beat battle, DJ battle, breakdance competition, fashion show, panel discussions and more.



This is the Southeast’s premier true school hip-hop event.



All submissions not selected for this year’s event will receive the opportunity to receive one free pass to this years event (last years cost was $33).
