"AREA 51 Live !"

After some arranging we finally managed to book Area 51, one of Yate and Chipping Sodbury’s most promising up and coming acts.

Playing a selection of original and covered material Area 51 rocked the Armadillo to the excitement of their fans and the Armadillo regulars. We even got a glimpse of some of their newer tracks (sounding really good) which will be released just before Christmas – check out iTunes!

"The time has almost come for Yate to Reach for the stars"

you find yourself with nothing to do this Saturday, or want something fun to do

with the family then head to Yate Shopping centre for what looks to be a

brilliant day out.

On Saturday 17th July, Yate will be reaching for

the stars and searching for the best

talent in Yate. The talent contest was open to dancers, singers, bands

and anyone with a talent for entertaingin. It is Yate’s very own Britains Got

Talent – Yate’s Got Talent.

Not only will the best local talent be showcasing their

skills but there will also be a special guest performer will be wowing the

crowds. I wonder who this performer will be?

The show is set to be a great spectacle with a fun fair,

bouncy castle and charity street fair. The contestants have a lot to live up to

with the recent success of local band area 51. Hopefully the weather will hold out for Saturday and the day

will be blessed with sunshine.

Does anyone know any contestants? What would you like to see

on Saturday, is there another Area 51 in Yate waiting to break out?
