Bio
Aisling (pronounced Ash-leen) is a singer/songwriter who grew up in Dorchester, in Boston, Massachusetts. Her first performances were as a child in the gospel musical "Black Nativity." She hopes her music will give her the opportunity to be an advocate for social change, especially on issues that affect women, children and people of color, including violence against women, community violence, police brutality, and the criminal injustice system. Along with her music, Aisling is a mental health and addiction recovery coach, writer, and EFT Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner. She is also working on building the Freedom Movement, a growing network of "freedomizing" organizations and individuals around the world. Her music is Soul R&B meets Rock, Folk, Country, and Gospel. She has performed throughout Boston, New England, New York, and Miami - and her performances include shows and events at such venues as The Middle East in Cambridge, SOB's in Manhattan, Hard Rock Cafe's in Miami and Boston, and many more.
