Alex Matheson

Alex Matheson is a singer/songwriter from Halifax, NS. She has been singing since an early age and has been writing songs and playing guitar for many years. Alex sets a fine example of Canadian musical talent. Her style is a blend of country and pop which gives her recordings a very commercial sound. She has graced the stage in many cities including Nashville and Los Angeles. Her self titled EP has been selected as an "Editor's Pick" on CD Baby.com in the Country/Pop genre. She and her band showcased their music at the 2009 East Coast Music Awards on the "Discovery Stage". Recently she performed for the Legendary WSM radio during CMA week in Nashville, TN and was invited to play at the World Famous "Blue Bird Cafe".
