Alex Scott

Alex Scott

Alex Scott is known for his quick wit he brings to the stage. Alex has the ability to come up with jokes off the top of his head and connect with the crowd like the great pioneers in comedy such as Steve Harvey , Bernie Mac, and DL Hughley.

The first time Alex ever touched the mic, he won second place in the DC Comedian of the Year contest. This was the motivation that drove Alex to move to New York City. Homeless and alone, Alex slept in Central Park for 2 days. Not giving up on his dream, Alex ended up staying for 3 years performing at some of the hottest clubs in New York such as StandUp NY, Boston Comedy Club, and the Uptown Comedy Club. Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, Alex moved back to D.C. and won the 2005 Kings and Queens of Comedy contest.

In recent years, Alex has performed on numerous TV shows including the last season of HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s Coming toThe Stage, and BET’s Comic View. Also, Alex made his movie debut in the movie “Misunderstandings”. Alex Scott is becoming one of the hottest comedians in the country and can be seen performing in comedy clubs across the United States. Scott, not only a performer but a student of comedy says “A man that knows he knows nothing can learn everything”.
