"“This is a very outstanding album""

One of the best I have received in the last year. It is obvious that a lot of time and effort has gone into this piece of work. Terrific melodies throughout with arrangements of sheer quality and the playing of all musicians is top class. What Messrs. Carlucci and Bartolomucci have done is create an eminently listenable CD, which should receive considerable airplay worldwide. This album will certainly feature on future programmes that I present. It was a pleasure to listen to your music; you have a winner with this format. Brilliant.

""Music that makes one dream""

There is a fresh bossa nova beat that underscores each of the tunes on this CD. The leaders are Lou Bartolomucci (g, keyboards) and Tony Carlucci (t, tb, flugelhorn). They lead the melodies on thirteen warm original compositions. The results are an endless stream of soothing tunes that sound as rich as an ocean sunset.

AMAROSA

Amarosa originated as a studio project for composers Tony Carlucci, Lou Bartolomucci. It is also an offshoot of the Jazz/fusion group known as Synthetic earth of which Tony Carlucci and Lou Bartolomucci were co-founders of and performed at Jazz Festivals such as The Beaches Jazz Festival and the Toronto Jazz Festivals. The music of Amarosa is Latin/Jazz based and features the Flugal horn/brass playing of Tony and the Electric/Acoustic guitars and piano of Lou. The music is best described as melodic, easy listening jazz with Latin overtones. Amarosa is currently being played regularly on 91.1FM Jazz and the Wave 94.7 FM in the Toronto area as well as other stations around the world.
Amarosa delivers a very powerful musical experience that many people have described as intoxicating and infectious.
