VERSE 1
Nobody could’ve told me we’d be over this fast
We started out right took it slow as friends because we wanted it to last
But we saw things take a turn we both got burned so many lessons learned
I don’t wanna point the finger I’ll just share the blame

CHORUS
Was it you? was it me?
Doesn’t matter because it’s clear to see we’re not meant to be
In and out, hot and cold, left and right, peace and fights
That’s all we know how can we ever grow?
And it pains me to say this, No other way to explain it
Baby we gotta face it, Sometimes love just aint enough

VERSE 2
Ya see when you love someone
as long and as hard and as much as I love you
Not sure if JUST being your friend after this is something I can do
So confused, don’t know how to explain the problems
All I know is that we cant solve them
It’s not your fault, not all mine
We’ve been through this too many times.

CHORUS
Was it you? was it me?
Doesn’t matter because it’s clear to see we’re not meant to be
In and out, hot and cold, left and right, peace and fights
That’s all we know how can we ever grow?
And it pains me to say this, No other way to explain it
Baby we gotta face it, Sometimes love just aint enough

BRIDGE
Can we still be friends? You’re askin’ me again
Baby It’s too soon us breaking up is already to much to comprehend
I hope we learn from our past mistakes
In the back of my mind
I’ll always wonder why we didn’t have what it takes

CHORUS
Was it you? was it me?
Doesn’t matter because it’s clear to see we’re not meant to be
In and out, hot and cold, left and right, peace and fights
That’s all we know how can we ever grow?
And it pains me to say this, No other way to explain it
Baby we gotta face it, Sometimes love just aint enough

Where did we go wrong? Couldn't get along
Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough

Cherish The Way (You Loved Me)
Lyrics by Andrea Jones BLYATH Publishing ©

Verse 1
Hasn’t been too long since you’ve been gone
Seems like a lifetime though I’m trying to stay strong
Feels like half my heart’s been taken
Some days I’m not sure if I can make it
I didn’t know that we’d only have a short while
But I do know these things

Chorus
I still remember the way
You used to hold me
I can’t forget the way you’d make me feel
And I’ll always cherish the way
You kept a smile on my face
Cherish the way you loved me,
I’ll always cherish the way you loved me

Verse 2
I’m crying in the middle of the night.
I grip you picture feel this empty space by my side.
One day you were here, the next you were gone
And I just keep imagining you walking right through the door
With time people say the pain will lesson
But I don’t think so cause you were my perfect blessing

Chorus
I still remember the way
You used to hold me
I can’t forget the way you’d make me feel
And I’ll always cherish the way
You kept a smile on my face
Cherish the way you loved me,
I’ll always cherish the way you love me

Bridge
Don’t even want another love cause I won’t find
A more beautiful and committed one like yours and mine.
I know one day, we’re gong to meet again.
In my heart you’ll have a place until then

Chorus
I still remember the way
You used to hold me
I can’t forget the way you’d make me feel
And I’ll always cherish the way
You kept a smile on my face
Cherish the way you loved me,
I’ll always cherish the way you love me
