"Listening Party for Reverbnation Spartanburg Music Chart"

“ Angie Cleveland, “High Praise” Being admittedly biased against most explicitly religious pop music in general (not for religious reasons, I just think much of it is artistically lazy), the Spartanburg-based Cleveland’s music was another nice surprise. I’ll even go so far as to say that this is actually pretty good. It’s a little like a post-Fugees Lauryn Hill making a Christian call-to-arms, but the important thing is that it works as a song, rather than just relying on the religious message to make the song worth listening to. ” - Spartanburg Spark
