Bio
Having been 'groomed' for her future by her music teacher mother, Ashley grew up in York, PA with a deep PASSION for all things music. Known for having "killer pipes" that can handle any genre from rock-to-gospel-to-classical, it's no wonder that Ashley was sought after for singing and playing in bands and worship bands from a young age. With a love for the stage securely in place, she took her talents to college and began to write and regularly perform the music that was welling up in her soul.
Having snagged her best and most talented friends from the West Chester music department, she formed her backup band and started playing bigger gigs during the summer and also for campus/university events during the year.
Her invigorated drive to be on stage was due, in part, to the new-found love for her full-band sound...the sound which had more EDGE...and could only be classified as VIOLIN-ROCK!
With her sights set on gaining the attention of bigger audiences to spread Good News, and with the intent to enter a large-scale Battle of the Bands competition, Ashley recorded her first 4-song demo .
She submitted this Demo and, after performing in the Final Four (out of 98 bands)... WON THE GRAND PRIZE at the Battle of the Bands in West Chester, PA.
Recently since, Ashley has continued to gig and write, which snagged the attention of Austin Cook--President of Band With A Mission, in Nashville. Upon his personal invitation, Ashley made the trek to "MusicTown USA" to perform before Austin & other industry representatives, where she was offered a production & development deal.
After working with Austin & Steve Allen at The Sound Shop and Square One Studios in Nashville--Ashley released her first, and much-anticipated, 5-song EP with some of her most recent originals.
Whether it is her smile and infectious personality--both on and off stage--or her incredibly catchy melodies and violin riffs, Ashley is ALWAYS sure to put on a crowd-pleasing show... And she always gives glory to the only One who has given her the ability to do what she does....& loves!...
