Bio

Upon forming in November 2010 and consolidating their line up July 2011; Queens and Long Island’s DIY Alternative/Pop Punk band, A Story Left Untold, have been endlessly playing shows and constantly building their fan base. Difficult to compare, but similar in sound to Paramore, All Time Low, Fall out Boy and more; A Story Left Untold is a combination of diverse influences drawn from each individual of the band. The band has created such an energetic live performance, the audience will need two eyes on the stage and a hand on their phones to make sure they capture them. Fueled by a passion to share their sound with the world, A Story Left Untold is ready to charm listeners everywhere.

Forgetting Something Unforgettable, A Story Left Untold’s debut album, released July 25th, 2011, contains an irresistibly catchy musical approach combined with wittingly honest lyrics and mesmerizing melodies which listeners will feel coursing through their souls. Filled with the soulful voice of lead singer, Michelle "Elle" Guzman, the album picks you up and warps you to another dimension full of magic, heroics, supernatural entities and love worthy of any Marvel and DC comic. Blasting full speed into the world of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter, magic and heroism with "Hallows" ("snakes don't talk to people, 'cept those that are not quite alive.") to "Runaways", a song based on the Marvel comics of the same name, ("...I can't believe we were lied to all this time...") to the dangers of gambling ("...you're cutting it close so stupid / they're going to see right through it...") To a homage in honor of the rescuers and victims in the September 11th attacks in "Ten Years" (Staunch-like heroes with our thoughts were bound together by rope / Carrying out the ladders of our names to not slip down a slope.) Forgetting Something Unforgettable is an album meant to be listened from beginning to end. Forgetting Something Unforgettable is on sale now on iTunes, Amazon, Zune, Rhapsody, Nokia, Shockhound, Spotify, Napster, iHeartRadio, and VerveLife.

The Summer of 2011 not only marked the release of their album but a self-booked East Coast tour in attempts to promote Forgetting Something Unforgettable, ultimately only able to make it to 2 out of 7 dates due to vehicle troubles. The band drove 14 hours and successfully made it to Virginia, and continued to Georgia; inspired by what seemed like a new world, A Story Left Untold is working hard to get back to the tour life, and will be announcing plans of a tour in early February to continue to promote their album.

A Story Left Untold is made up of Michelle "Elle” Guzman (vocals), Alex Mullin (guitars), Joseph Kowal (guitars), Sean Ho (bass) and Nick Kolokathis (drums). They have had the honor of sharing the stage with national acts such as Stereo Skyline, Rocky Loves Emily, Kicking Daisies, Set It Off, Patent Pending, Before You Exit, Freshman 15 and many more. They were also one of the winners of the Ernie's Battle of The Band 15 for the 2011 Warped Tour at Nassau Coliseum. The band cannot be more grateful for the fans, opportunities and accomplishments that they achieved in such a short amount of time.

With plans of tours and a plethora of shows being booked, 2012 will be a busy year for ASLU. The band will continue to promote themselves and build their fan base across all the social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Youtube and etc.), reaching new listeners from all over the world, as they have been doing since the beginning of their journey. Passionate and more determined than ever, the band continues running on their endless path of opportunities. They will be announcing tour dates and plans as the year progresses.

This is only the beginning of their untold story.
