Artist: Azriahl “Faith”
Album: Azriahl
Normally I’m not drawn to the prog rock sound, but this 3 piece from Peterborough, ON. have got something going here. Overall this is a pretty badass song. Sound feels really 90’s which is cool, lead vocals have an underlying but tolerable whine to them, and guitars are definitely memorable.

Bio
The year is 2008 and Azriahl is playing solo shows with acoustic in hand and carving out a path as a renowned and talented solo artist. Jump ahead to July 2011 and through the door enters ex oDD wORld drummer Robbie Rogers bringing with him, ex Black Meat Powder lead guitarist Paul Tikkanen breaking new ground and creating the "new" Azriahl. Added with the immense sound of Jimi Baldwin on bass and Kyle Vaughan on rhythm guitars, Azriahl has now become complete.
The Azriahl sound has developed into that of an alternative prog rock with mysterious nuances and unique vocal tones melted together with intricate drumming and metal-influenced guitar leads with a powerful bass bottom end, all while encompassing a the classic acoustic sound that started it all.
Influences include Perfect Circle, Porcupine Tree, Alice in Chains.
