"In tune with Frank Garcia."

What makes Bars and Ballet stand out amongst other bands is the music. “We’re bringing back real Rock and Roll. Everyone else is doing Screamo and Metal and stuff like that but we want to be different, we want to bring about a whole new genre that is Classic Rock inspired with a mixture of other influences like Punk, Progressive Rock and things like that. We just want to keep our fans on their toes and always wonder what’s next. We want to be their favorite band.”

Bio

This is the band that wasn't supposed to be but came together after three years in the making. Elie Matthews, Tyler Justice and Nicholas Pearson have been writing together for the better part of the last three years. The riffs and the vocals all just come naturally, nothing is forced to fit or sound right. After playing coffee shops and just around town the group (then known as Adage) decided to do a little recording and were in need of a drummer. Franklin Garcia was introduced to the band through a mutual friend of his and Nick's and he decided to come down to the studio on a whim to just give a few songs a listen to, and what he heard he really enjoyed. Since that faithful, rainy day in June we have now become Bars and Ballet and are in the mastering stages of finishing our fourteen song EP by the middle of March.

We can't seem to find a genre that suites us, and truth be told we like it that way. We believe the greatest feeling in music is after your set when the sound engineer, bartender and even the promoter come up to you and thank you for such an original sounding performance.
