The Buck Yeager Band, will be headlining tonight at Goode Company’s “Friday Night Concert Series.” Headlining is a wonderful barrier-breakthrough word for the “once opening for...”band! It was difficult for me to understand from a talk with Greg Walton, lead singer that they weren’t already out there headlining! They had such a great sound, stronger than most much more experienced bands! I knew that the Buck Yeager Band was meant to be in front of the race way back then! They already had a head start on a star bound career, but it took one magical moment and a loving wife, Tracie Walton, to unknowingly move that future even higher into the realm of the great Country Artists. Here are the guys who make some of the best country music in Texas!
Based out of Houston Texas, the Buck Yeager Band is now considered one of Houston’s finest and best upcoming artists. But it hasn’t been easy. On the road constantly and with unstoppable passion and good old hard work, Greg Walton and his Buck Yeager Band played thousands of venues across varying states. They were the “Go To” band, for the past four years the Buck Yeager Band filling in for artists and venue holders who needed performers on the spot. Of course, rigorous schedules and eagerness to perform their great performances became the key to their gathering of huge number of fans who were witness to their talent and stage presences!

Based out of Houston, Texas, the Buck Yeager Band is on the path to emerge as one of Houston’s best upcoming country acts. For approximately six years, Buck Yeager Band has thrilled audiences across Texas with their tremendous energy and their proven ability to entertain audiences of all ages. Buck Yeager Band has received airplay on Houston’s most popular major market country station (92.9 KKBQ) with the release of their first single – “Deep in the West” (written by Shake Russell). The band received a full sponsorship from Jagermeister.
The band has appeared on the Fox Morning Show and has had the privilege of working with many popular artists such as: Django Walker, Robert Earl Keen, Tracy Byrd, Jack Ingram, Bellamy Brothers, Bad Company, Shake Russell and Dana Cooper and Zona Jones.
