Celeste (Celeste & Rokuro)

Celeste has always captivated audiences with her stage presence, her undeniable voice and power, beauty, performance, and inspiring songs. Not afraid to go deep , or have the time of her life, she's always connecting to the audience through music. Not a " chatty cathy up there" she lets the music do the talking. In the most jaded of Los Angeles Clubs, bouncers that see everything, have been heard after shows yelling things like " Only In My Dreams!"

She has won numerous awards : Song Of The Year, Unisong INTL, Reality Entertainment, Heineken, Singers Universe (3 time winner top 5 every time she has entered) as well as local Malibu Music Awards (Pop Artist of the Year & Rising Star Award). Celeste also is a top level Vocal Coach that rivals the most known, as a Performance instructor, She's taken her team MPG (Malibu Performance Group) to local events all around the southland Ca.

She has survived tragedies: from loosing her sister to a horrible crash in Malibu Ca, the "signing & dropping" and crumbling of major labels, but she's persevered no matter what. What keeps her going is her connection to the music, and the audience, her family. They've embraced everything that she does, It's not a major record label anymore trying to mold her and getting it wrong, it's her, completely showing who she is, and having fun while doing it.

Celeste is someone that empowers/inspires every one. Her influences have ranged from Aretha Franklin,the culture of Madonna, the power and control of Jessie J, and of course rock legends like Robert Plant.

Celeste has in fact, already made a difference in EDM as her song " We Are Not Alone" has had thousands of cult followers supporting her through social media. It was a fluke how it happened, but it's become the birth point of her Celeste & Rokuro music. It's been seen as an EDM Anthem as well as a response song to the bad press EDM Festivals have received. The video on Youtube has received so many wonderful comments through social media.

Rokuro (who lives more than 2000 miles away) was what rocketed the electronic music further than she had ever imagined. Her local producer PGX (Grundmaster) also works with them and produces her in LA while Rokuro in UK sends music to them. Celeste writes of course and between them all, they make a powerful team. Rokuro who's done official Remixes for Black Eyed Peas and has achieved many accolades of his own , is no stranger to EDM, he's been doing it before that abbreviation was invented , and then some. His Tidy Mixes have received acclaim worldwide from Radio Personalities & DJS, and made it to TV, Radio & Film.

This new collaborative relationship began a few years ago when he did a remix for her song " Call You Up" it's since become a youtube highly watched video.

After they realized they were destined to be making music and taking on the EDM House/Pop/Progressive/Trance and all things in those areas, they set out to put out music officially as Celeste & Rokuro in 2013. People are always asking them " Are you playing EDC, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival?" and all they can say is " soon!"
