Since their inception in the summer of 2012, Richmond VA-based Celtic Panda's high-energy performances have been thrilling audiences both throughout the state of Virginia and up and down the east coast; in what appears to be an effortless blending of funk and jazz with heavy progressive rock breakdowns, Celtic Panda's eclectic, psychedelic sound is a testament to the musical talent that is proliferating from RVA these days. 2014 has been an exciting year for the band as they look forward to their highly anticipated new album "The Pros and Cons of Crushing Medication", have enjoyed residency slots at both The Cary St Cafe in Richmond and The One Stop in Asheville, NC, and hold an impressive list of upcoming shows as well as festival bookings with exciting acts from across the country; it's evident that for these Richmond rockers, the sky is truly the limit in 2014- catch their "bamboo grooves" in a city near you!
