Cherry BlackStone are a vibrant, fresh and exciting live band from London England delivering their new sound… Phunk Rock!!

Cherry BlackStone’s influences range from Prince, N.E.R.D, Madcon, The Black Eyed Peas, The Roots, Ike and Tina Turner, James Brown and Sly and The Family Stone to create an exciting live performance that crosses many boundaries.

The band was founded 5 years ago by husband and wife team ReDD and Andrez Harriott, who are also the lead vocalist and drummer. The two met whilst studying at the legendary Brits Performing Arts College in England which has also produced Amy Whinehouse, Leona Lewis and Adele.

Cherry BlackStone have self-managed their project and taken their sound to the masses. Their debut single Kushti released digitally via The Orchard, received major support from regional and student radio as well as national press and T.V. The bands sales of their debut album, merchandise and corporate performances enable them to continue with their vision and passion.

ReDD is powerful and inspiring vocalist who has toured and played with some of the biggest artist in the world The Killers, Mariah Carey, Razorlight, John Legend, Mica Paris, Natasha Bedingfield, Suga Babes, Roger Daltry (The Who) and LuLu.

Andrez is a drummer with the funk backbone and character to match. His entry into the music industry came in the form of a male five piece harmony band named Damage who sold in excess of 500,000 albums also having international success. He believes that “music chooses who it wants to use as its not a ride for the weak hearted”.

The band are completed by Ashton Mirander who is also a previous student of The Brits Performing Arts College and plays the keys with every part of his spirit. In addition they also have two additional musicians for Guitar and Bass sections.

Cherry BlackStone have honed their live performance to an art and are now ready on their second album to approach the global market. They are now looking for live agents in different territories that can expand their live options internationally and licensing deals with companies focused on global success.
