Cohere released their first single in late 2008. The track "Everyday" has well over 1000 plays on myspace in just a short few months. Jan 5th of 2009 Cohere released 5 brand new songs titled: "Never Enough", "False Enemy", "The Fight Song", "The Gift of Disease", and of course their title track "Crossroads" on their myspace page. In short of a week each track has nearly 300 plays. The songs have only been made available to listen to through myspace only as a teaser to their first upcoming album.

Cohere is known not only as a Christian Rock Band , but as well a Christian Rock Ministry. Every Ministry has followers and Cohere has had the privelege of leading those through the crossroads and watching those they have led become leaders theirselves. To best describe the four diverse members that make the band Cohere, one would have to refer to their title track from their first album Crossroads. The song describes how many people live lies within theirselves walking on wide well paved roads. The song describes how each member has been at the crossroads in their own life and how the lord led them down the right path, the road less traveled, the place of hope. Each song has an extraordinarily different sound, being that each member derives his style from a different genres ranging from metal to worship. One testimony that the band loves to tell is that of The Awakening 08'. A vision that God Placed on their hearts to put together a Free Christian Concert for all to come and see. A lot of time and effort went into preparing for the concert, but God supplied EVERYTHING! the band needed. In the end the the old venue that seated 400 people was packed with standing room only eager to see and hear the 5 bands, 3 solo artists, and guest speaker that God so graciously provided. The Concerts mission was accomplished in the result that many were led to Christ for the first time as well as many others rededicated their lives back to Christ, but all were blessed with Gods word. Cohere tries to follow Christ the best they can, but just like everyone else falls short of Gods glory as well. If you were to describe Cohere with only one word it would simply have to be FORGIVEN.
