The Cranberry Suit has a powerful and compelling sound rooted in 70’s style soulful rock. This is perfectly demonstrated during the song ‘On The Run’. It has a riff that 70’s legends Free would have been proud of. The song shakes and struts, dripping with an infectious, bluesy-soulful vibe. The high point sees a mesmerizing guitar solo, which just crackles with energy. That style continues throughout the bands' tracks such as ‘Into Lovin’ You’, which once again sees a super catchy guitar riff interweaving with the bands impressively tight rhythm section. Likewise, the track ‘Strong’ sees an hypnotic guitar and bass riff driving the song forward, luring the listener deeper and deeper into the band’s impressive world of sound. The song ‘Broken’ hears Cranberry Suit take it down a notch with a gentler, more acoustic sound. The vocals soulfully telling the listener that “The truth is I’m broken”. A heart-felt song which draws you into its sad story. It’s the kind of song you can imagine being performed on a big arena stage to 20,000 fans with the audience waving their lighters aglow. The newer track ‘Cranberry Groove Vol 2’ sees another relentless driving riff - This time reminiscent of Living Colour in their pomp. It’s all there. The soulful vibe. The stinging guitar riffs.
