A quote from the Genrepolice: "CROSSEYES is a dynamic superband!" The music of CROSSEYES is based on catchy rock, but they dont care for boundaries and do what they want to! As a live act CROSSEYES turns the ears and heads of any audience and wins new fans each time. Mirka (voc) and Henri (gui) started their collaboration in 2007, when they made their first songs and gigs together (aka Handbreaks). At the beginning of 2009 Jylli (bs) and Viitanen (dr) were tricked into a three song studio session. But there was a wibe and things got out of hands;) Now CROSSEYES rides towards the sun set, their debut album, and sold out stadium gigs. The song Dont try to be something else was chosen to be in the TOP5 by Songwriter Universe Magazine (Jan. 2010) and is on the Studio57s pop-rock compilation (out Dec. 2009). Their debut will be ready for release in 2010.
