Bio
Cynthia Brando is a singer songwriter and performer in Los Angeles. You can catch her playing at venues in LA as a solo act or with her accompanist, the great John O'Kennedy as a duo. She is the author of "Perils of Being a Songwriter", a blog about navigating the music industry. Her writings have been published on the popular music resource sites "Music Clout", and "Music Industry How To." She is also the creator and publisher of "Music Emerging" magazine, a new grassroots magazine with music related interviews, photos, videos and more. Cynthia has been a featured musician on the popular online radio and podcast show "Women of Substance Radio", which is regularly in the top ten most popular and downloaded podcasts. For two years in a row, Cynthia received an Honorable Mention in SongDoor's International Songwriting Contest in the country category.
