"Girls Gone Wild!"

"Who was the genius who first convinced women that beads were currency for showing their tits?"and angle-faced, smiling cutie asked me when the woman across from him flaunted her cheap, plastic baubles. He had come out to see metal outfit Dark Star Revolt kick off the GGW event.

While the band played, metalhead women tossed their long hair in circles and conducted the musicians with devil-horn-shaped hands. The audience was so mesmorized by the movements and sex appeal of their singer, "America", that even the security at the show had a hard time containing them. - New Times

Bio

Are you happy with Your America? Corrupt government officials, political payoffs, high taxes, high gas prices, expensive health care, freedom with their exceptions...This is NOT the America we grew up with. Let Dark Star Revolt take you to a NEW AMERICA!

Dark Star Revolt is a politically and sexually charged 4-piece rock band founded in 2005, based out of Ft. Lauderdale. An infectious blend of heavy, melodic, and commerical defines our sound and makes us who we are, masters of the stage. We are the truth bringers, and we crush all the naysayers. The walls of deceit and false propoganda are exposed and torn down, and a NEW AMERICA is revealed.

Many musical influences can be heard in Dark Star Revolt's sound: Marilyn Manson, Metallica, STP, Green Day, Rage Against the Machine, Led Zeppelin, etc. Pride dictates our great versatility within the rock genre.

“Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one: for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries BY A GOVERNMENT, which we might expect in a country WITHOUT GOVERNMENT, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer. Government, like dress, is the badge of lost innocence; the palaces of kings are built upon the ruins of the bowers of paradise.”

-Thomas Paine, Common Sense, 1776
