Drex

Drex is a singer-songwriter-rappper and multi-instrumentalist who debuted to the world with his R&B; album Sex Sells in 2009 and followed in 2014 with two albums, Emotions a soulful RnB addition to his discrography and Intuitions a full showcasing of his rap talents and his perspective on current events.

Born into a musical family, His father would have his two brothers and he practice instruments (drums, piano, guitar etc..)in their basement almost every weekend. If not practicing they were watching their father practice on his bass guitar. Drexs mother would be the one to introduce them to singing. She would instruct them as a group, teaching harmonies, breathing techniques, and posture.

Drex's parents divorced while he was still youn but his mother later remarried and migrated to Orlando, Florida in hopes of starting a new life. In Florida Drex joined a chorus and band class for the first time. He describes this an awesome experience where he took advantage of the teachings and different techniques. After performing with schools band, chorus and winning talent shows Drex began to be get local recognition.

The family would eventually return to Milwaukee where Drex would meet and begin working with more established artists and writers like Cincere and George Nash (Eric Benet).

Drex joined the Army and upon being assigned to and completing his tour of duty at Fort Hood, TX decided to stay in the area and released his first album Sex Sells in 2009. In 2013 while working on projects with producer friend he would be introduced to the owner of a small independent label impressed with his performing and songwriting abilities. Drex established Drexclusive Music, LLC and began working togetehr with Goode Sound Records which resulted in the releases of a new RnB album Emootions and a hiphop album Intuitions on 26 May 2014.
