Eighty8 (formerly known as Burna) is a Canadian hip hop artist born in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
After releasing his debut mixtape “No Introduction Vol.1” and video “3, 2, 1” in 2012 and not receiving the attention and adoration the music deserved, eighty8 took a 2-year break to re-evaluate, further perfect his sound and establish a voice within the Toronto Hip Hop scene. With this, he decided to leave the name Burna behind as it represented his old persona. He now goes by eighty8, which embodies a flawed without apology feel, raw with no limits.
His new project entitled Blood, Sweat, and Tears is an emotionally charged piece of art, tapping into the struggle of life and disappointment. His debut EP will be released the summer of 2015.
