Bio

Electric Fields are two feminine brothers who are uniting ancient Anangu culture with modern electronic soul.  ‘…truly, fiercely beautiful’ – Daniel Browning, Presenter and Producer ABC Radio National.

This potent new music brings together the brilliance and creativity of music producer and composer Michael Ross, with the mesmerising sensitivity of Zaachariaha Fielding - whose rare and beautiful voice has been described as 'taking soul to the stratosphere'.   Co-creating music and delivering a live performance that is as exciting as it is emotionally moving – the beauty and sheer power of their musicality is breathtaking. Often featuring Zaachariaha's traditional language of the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara people, Electric Fields music ranges from soulful pop to epic-scale electronic works, through to intensely intimate story-songs.

Within a year of their debut release, Electric Fields received the APRA Emily Burrows Award, performed in China and Scotland by invitation as well as Elder Park at the massive New Year’s Eve event in Adelaide’s CBD to an audience of over 40,000.

Booked alongside Flight Facilities, Tkay Maidza, and PNAU for the Royal Croquet Club Summer Tour, their track Shade Away was also chosen as the hero music for Adelaide Fashion Festival 2017 and was featured on Qantas In-Flight Entertainment. They hit No1 on the Radio Adelaide’s most played in addition to high rotation on Fresh FM.
