Erna and the Erratics came together to play for a welcome party for the music school they were attending in 2010. That evolved into a cover band that evolved into an indie soul band with Funk, Motown, and Rock influences.
Based out of Eagle Rock, California Erna is originally from Seattle, but fled for the sun. She pulls from her love of Paul Simon, Laurynn Hill, and all 90's music for lyrical inspiration. Serious devotion to Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, and the legacy of Motown and Funk get reworked into contemporary rock and pop tinged tunes.
