The Orlando based band “Everyday I” rose out of a one time, chance musical experiment that left all in the room with renewed direction and purpose. A healthy respect for each other as players and belief in musical freedom has propelled the band through writing an extensive catalog of songs in a relatively short time. We for the most part create as band and everyone seems to instinctually know when to follow someone’s vision and when to take the reigns. Inspiration seems to flourish when we are all in the same room. The songs all seem to arrive with a bit of mystique to them. There are no boundaries or limitations in song writing, we have only one policy; if it feels right it stays. We live in a time where truth and substance can be in short supply. Preconceived, polished, and spoon fed is the mantra. We simply try to remain honest, humble, and in touch with the elements that brought us to this point. Sometimes the unrefined, jagged edges are most genuine and to us it’s what makes art most beautiful. The music of Everyday I ranges from a dreamlike whisper to a soaring roar. Our focus is the emotion contained in the peaks and valleys of music and life. Everyday I is a band that is driven to prove themselves at every turn. Our ultimate goal is to remind ourselves and our audience that life is a gift, live without reservation, and celebrate the moment.
