Flatland Travelers

The Stillwater, Oklahoma based group have been blazing their own path around the country, spreading love and music since June 2009. Proving that Flatland has no boundaries, Chris Bell, Patrick Bubert, Ryan Linden and Sam Naifeh blur the lines between genres with shades of jazz, funk, blues, folk, reggae and everything else in between. Featuring a revolving door of guest musicians and friends, Flatland shows no fear delving into the realm of improvisation. Their 2010 schedule contained over 200 tour dates, as well as festival appearances at Wakarusa; freeTulsa!; River Jam Fest in Ft. Smith, AR; Illinois River Jam in Tahlequah, OK. In 2010, they shared the stage with several national acts including: Bassnectar, Big Gigantic, Big Smith, Cory Morrow, Dirtfoot, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, EOTO, Greensky Bluegrass, Hosty Duo, Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights, Mountain Sprout, No Justice, Papa Mali featuring Bernie Warrell, Randy Crouch, Red Dirt Rangers, Splitlip Rayfield, Stoney Larue, Taddy Porter, That One Guy, Turnpike Troubadours.
