Oh Snap, it's Formatta... for the past five years the Jacksonville quintet known as Formatta have been delivering fun and energetic performances to the delight of audiences throughout Florida & Georgia. Their shows have earned them local praise and they are quickly establishing themselves as one of northeast Florida's standout acts. Possessing all the trappings of being an emo band, Formatta has manged to fuse an indie influence and upbeat pop sensibility into their music. Their songs contain catchy melodies overlaid on top of driving power-riffs and ambient U2-esque type guitar chords. Their powerpop delivery of light hearted songs rooted in strong spiritual messages combined with their friendly stage presence have made them a favorite at the Murray Hill Theatre. I eagerly book them, regularly. What more can I say about Formatta than that their just plain fun!

Formatta is a 5 person Rock band from Jacksonville, FL. Going on 5 years of being a band, Formatta has toured the US, and released 3 albums that have sold thousands of copies independently. Formatta's live show is more of a "show" than other independent bands. Formatta promotes live fun for everyone, where every person gets involved, and has a fun experience.
