Born Franz Ramon Ates December 8, 1962 in an east Texas city called Tyler(rose capitol of the world), also known by his previous recording artist name Mc TNT. Franz is now best known by his recording and producer mononyn "Franzaliscious" as dubbed by one of his many recording artist and songwriters Alicia Pierson.
Franz is a innovative producer/musician/songwriter with masterful engineering skills. Dominate in marketing and promotions.
His diversity in the music genre creates a repertoire of creative
works in all avenues of the music industry.
Working with artist of varied musical backgrounds
both signed and independent. His business and executive experience
defines the creative venue of "independent world music".
Before becoming the owner/operator of Essence of Ates Productions and EOAP POSSE Records and Publishing, that flourished in the late 80's and early 90's, Franz was deejaying parties and clubs under the tutalage of Dallas' Ushy. As head of EOAP he was responsible for much of the mainstream hip/hop and rap acts that dawned the Dallas/Ft.Worth music scene during that time. He produced acts like Sugar and Spice featuring K104's DJ Trouble, Fort Green's Right n Exact, Xerox, South Bronx's Classy C, Louisiana's Kid Hype, Something Fresh aka Nemisis Dallas' Mc Showtey featuring DJ Dallas Scratch and many others.
He now heads up the electronic production reigns at Erecnis Entertainment Enterprise, Alvarado, Texas. I've been playing music since I was 9 or 10 my grandamother bought me an acoustic guitar with her S&H greenstamps.Later when I moved to New York with my mom and stepdad I played the trumpet while attending school at Manhattan's I.S.10, when I returned to Texas I picked up the alto saxaphone.And my grandparents always had a piano in the house, that's where I began to dabble with the keys all my uncles played of which Rodney Wynn is probably the most noted. I later took classical piano lessons for a couple of years. Oh by the way my mother was an avid listener of Franz Schubert and Franz List whom I was named after. Something in a name I guess.
