...Progress, I Think?

Written By: Lyrics by Gaston de la Vega & Edward Villardel, Music by Hit Play!

Smoke stack carbon, dioxide fills my, black lungs and heart nice, feels good while jogging
Keep your eyes focused. Soluble friendships, they get diluted…when mixed with bullshit
There is no right or wrong, just keep your eyes right on, value and purpose
Cleaning your conscience
There can’t be two wars won, there can’t be two sides of, the truth so now just

Go on, and be the one, who makes some progress.
No one, will give it up, you’ll have to take it

Palm trees linen the roads, beach go’ers and sluttos…A moral desert, social erosion
Hot days, burn your eyes, no sleep till sunrise… Not my disaster, just hear my laughter
Black lace and pseudo name, it’s part of our own way
Big talk but little balls, back handed dirty slobs
This is our pride and shame, don’t wanna know your name…Handshakes are fuck you's

So long, you don’t belong, this is our Progress
What’s wrong? Just shrug it off, no one can save us

All the signs, have pointed out I’m blind. I can’t be one, lost for good.
Troubled times, I’m fighting for my life, Biscayne’s close, but you’re not home

So long, you don’t belong, this is our Progress
What’s wrong? Just shrug it off, no one can save us

The Lie Detector Determined, That Was A Lie!

Written By: Lyrics by Gaston de la Vega. Music by Gaston de la Vega & Hit Play!

The Lie detector determined, that was a lie…

Search your feelings, look deep inside
am I the one you need when love is blind.
look around when everything's changed
it feels so real, so right, who can you blame

I’m stuck in here, waiting for you
But I don’t think this love is coming true
Situations change in time
I’m not going to be the one left behind

we'll find a way, we'll find a way
a way to make it happen
we'll find a way, we'll find a wayyyyyy

we should move away from here
and find us a place that's kinda queer
I don't know what else I should do
just grab my hand, come on, do like I do.

we'll find a way, we'll find a way
a way to make it happen
we'll find a way, we'll find a wayyyyyy

I, tend to think when I'm high...

I haven't slept since I stopped sleeping
so I haven't slept since I met you.
tired eyes and a mind that's racing
nothing ever matter's when I'm Inside...

we'll find a way, we'll find a way
a way to make it happen
we'll find a way, we'll find a wayyyyyy

A Pleasant View

Written By: Lyrics by Johnny Underpaid. Music by Johnny Underpaid & Hit Play!

Faded... It's just another day to me. The sound and sleep, the sound and sleep. Saturday was just a memory. I'm listening, but I don't hear you. I guess I'll go on another day with this pain. I'm the enemy.

I'm black and blue. When this is through, I'll scream your name.

Jaded... It matters not, who's wrong or right. I'm tired of trying, this endless fight. Your situation is killing me. So, spare me your bullshit and give me the story. It just occurred to me you might be... The enemy, my enemy.

I'm black and blue. When this is through, I'll scream your name.

Marley

Written By: Lyrics by Gaston de la Vega. Music by Gaston de la Vega & Hit Play!

Where are you now? I'm sitting at home and it's just not pretty. A part of me went missing the day you left. My light and energy's faded. Couldn't see your face in a lovely place. Your pics were sending, but they never come.

5 days gone, had me realize how much I love you. Marley's on the phone and I'm not alone...

Where am I know? Between this moment and the rest of my life. Anywhere you are, in your arms I'll die. You restored my faith in people. My hope in love, to the skies above. Your morning kisses are like soft sunbursts in my soul.

5 days gone, had me realize how much I love you. Marley's on the phone and I'm not alone...

And I choose you, for my...

Going For A Ride

Written By: Lyrics by Johnny Underpaid. Music by Johnny Underpaid & Hit Play!

A recent memory of our history. Always something new with you. A different light, just one more fight. I'll still be waiting here for you.

This long train ride. When do I get off...

Chocking away the afternoon. I'll always end up missing you. So please call out to me, cause I'm never sleeping. And I'll reach out to you.

This long train ride. When do I get off...

My <3

Written By: Lyrics by Gaston de la Vega & Johnny Underpaid. Music by Hit Play!

Somehow, we’ve been here before, My heart beats behind closed doors
All your laughter, all my tears…Locked inside for so many years
Enjoy this day, forget the fights…I’m gonna be here every night

Transcribe how things used to be…I know, I’m not the enemy
All my visions, you don’t care…Now there’s nothing left for me to share
Enjoy this day, forget the fights…I’m gonna be here every night

We’re taking turns at hitting back…You can bet on that

Somehow, we’ve been here before…My heart beats behind closed doors
All your laughter, all my tears…Locked inside for so many years
Enjoy this day, forget the fights…I’m gonna be here every night

You are everything I never knew…I always…wanted

We’re taking turns at hitting back…You can bet on that
