I grew up in Enfield/Rockville, Connecticut. I have been in love with music for as long as I can remember. As a child I remember getting in trouble for stealing(barrowing) record's and tape's from my uncle's. One of my uncle's was a singer in a band, and as a little one that ispired me to experiment with sonwrighting by the age of about seven or so. By age nine I was playing saxephone in the school band. With most kid's it's like pulling teeth to get them to practice, but not me. I would spend the day in my bedroom playing that thing until my mother couldnt take it, and would tell me to give it a rest. My saxephone was stolen from my closed by an unknown indevidual by the time I was twelve, and I never played the sax again.
At the age of eighteen I finnally knew what I wanted to do with my life...I wanted to be a musician. At this age all I did was rap, freestyle, songwright, and look for studio's to record in. Due to substance abuse problem's, and a lack of perservierence I wasted some year's just partying. I always wrote song's daily, and did open mic's regularly, but I lacked in motivation, and organisation skills. After year's of wondering from place to place, state to state, and couch to couch I put together my own little studio at age twenty five.
From age twenty five to twenty eight I put together four albums on my own, and distributed thousand's of copie's by hand. I am now entering my thirty's and I finnally got it all together. I am a husband, father of two baby girls, a home owner, a rapper/songwrighter, and a producer with my own Mac based Pro Tools studio in my house. I guess having children really lit a fire under my ass because in the last year I have read four book's on music production, and musician management / marketing. I sold my muscle car, and every other toy I had in order to upgrade my studio to profesional quality equipment. I have spent countless hours researching, reading, and watching toutorials on production,and pretty much anything that has to do with music or music equipment.
I have taught myself to rap and play the guitar at the same time. I play percussions of all kinds, and I can also play the drum's a little. I am now 100% confident in my capabilities as a producer, and a performer. I am twice as hungry as I was when I started with music, and a hundred times more motivated than I ever have been. I will earn my living off my talent if it's the last thing I do. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Contact me any time.
