Hurdles

Influenced by the likes of Phoenix, Tellison & Tall Ship, Hurdles are an indie pop 4 piece who started playing live together in November 2012 with the aim of creating a danceable blend of guitar driven pop. Hailing 3/4 from Dungannon Northern Ireland (Niall Hanna, Eoin Bleeks and Fearghal Breslin) and 1/4 from Bedford England (Ross Haymes) they released 3 singles which have all received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio Ulster & BBC 6 Music and put out their debut 5 track EP 'Where To Start' in October to widespread praise. 'Where To Start' was recorded at Start Together Studios in Belfast and saw the band up their production values and really push their sound to get as much out of it as possible. Having gigged relentlessly all over Ireland in 2013 including main stage slots at Glasgowbury and a headline slot at the Other Voice Music Trail in Derry, they are now working towards their next release with plans to tour the UK underway.
