Biography

Interstate76 is a Blues/Rock band from Philadelphia, Pa. They have been tearing it up in their hometown, with over 100 gigs together since their start in 2007. This is a big deal due to Stephan and Sean just turning 18.The members of the band are; Stephan Sirochman  (guitar, vocal), Sean Slattery (bass), Richard Chodak (guitar), Jeff Radigonda (drums).

They started out as friends, meeting at Bluebond Guitars and Music School every week for lessons due to some working there and some just hanging there for the love of music. Rich, owner of Bluebond Guitars and Music School, and Stephan one day decided to start a band because they both had found a love in blues musicians such as; Stevie Ray Vaughan, Robert Johnson, Robert Cray, Jimi Hendrix, Davy Knowles, Eric Clapton, etc. After much thought Rich and Stephan decided to ask Jeff and Sean to come jam with them to see what they could all do.  Rich said in a interview with Athena Music Productions and  Local 191, “ the first time we all jammed together, we knew we had something going for us.”

Interstate76 have played with many great bands and in many great venues, some of these bands include: Ike, The MLMs, Fat City Reprise, Nate Myers and the Aces,  The Harrison Webb Blues Thing, Urbaneyes, Dad Likes Strawberry Jam, The Cutbacks, Nu Cultures,  The Better Half,  and many many more.
