I Wish I Knew hails from Utrecht (The Netherlands) and creates tripping guitar-based atmospheric rock with raging passages and female vocals.
After the initial exploring jammin' years the present line-up set out in spring 2006. After the absence of two members for some months, the band re-united in march 2007. Within a month some songs were worked out and the band started to do some gigs. Later that year they recorded "Rhetorical Talk" which is still to be accompanied by video.
2008 started off with many gigs. The band made it to the semi-finals of Utrecht's largest band contest "The Clash of the Titans" and the CD-single for "Rhetorical Talk" has been in the Top-10 of the Dutch "Like it Live" charts since april. Summer '08 I Wish I Knew recorded their debut album ‘The Bubble Revolution’ which has been released in september. They subsequently started to do gigs not only in the Netherlands but also in Belgium and Germany to promote their record and music.
