Biography

JDUB is a dynamic Christian Rap artist who has one focus - spread the message and love of Jesus Christ, wherever he goes. With a degree in Biblical Studies from Palm Beach Atlantic University, JDUB sees himself first and foremost as a minister of the Gospel. But the tool he most uses to minister that life-changing message is hip-hop music. His fun, energetic, and entertaining music is also powerful and enlightening.
At age 13, JDUB recorded his first rap song, setting out to find fame and glory for himself. Just three years later he found something more glorious than fame could ever be – a personal relationship with Jesus. From that point on, JDUB has strived to live his life in a way that would honor God and bless others. Since JDUB gave his life to Christ, he has recorded four Christian hip-hop CDs. JDUB has appeared on VH1, sold albums internationally, and has opened for multiple top 40 Christian acts! His live performance will capture you, inspire you, and deliver the message of Jesus the Christ to a world in desperate need of that love.
"Yes, I am an entertainer - but first and foremost I am a believer, and if I can reach one life for the Glory of God, then this has all been worth it."

MISSION STATEMENT
JDUB is a non-denominational evangelical minister whose purpose is to spread the love and message of Jesus Christ through JDUB’s music and teaching.

CORE BELIEFS

The Holy Bible is the final authority.

God is three in one. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose on the third day for the forgiveness of our sins.

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Christ is coming back for the Church.

Those who do not give their life to Jesus will perish.

A letter from my head Pastor
Dear Pastor / To Whom It May Concern,

I’m writing to recommend Jeff Williams (JDUB) for your consideration for use in your ministry. In my years as a youth pastor, and now for the last 10 years as a pastor, I’ve come to have great appreciation for musicians who are as genuine and authentic as they are gifted. J-Dub is one of those rare artists whose gifts are widely recognized, and whose love for the Lord and for young people is real, and can be seen whether he’s on stage, spending time with kids, or out in the community.

I met JDUB years ago when he performed for our youth group, and I’ve gotten to spend more time with him since his family has been involved in our church. In that time, I’ve been very impressed with his character, his personality, his integrity, and his passion for the Lord and for being used by Him in the lives of kids. He is passionate about the Lord, his family, music, reaching and encouraging kids to walk more closely with the Lord, and I would have no reservations whatsoever in endorsing him and his ministry.
If you have any questions regarding Jeff or his ministry, please feel free to contact me at the number below.

Yours in Christ,
Matt Price, Pastor

Written By: Jeff H. Williams (JDUB)

This right hear aint for no body that aint had no problems ya know what I’m saying

for all us out here you now what I’m saying come on

Hook:

We all struggle (back ground voices say “What”)
We all stumble
We all crumble
That’s why we all need a …
God Type Relation

Hold up is there any sinners in the house know what I’m about let me here you shout
Struggle and troubles I sell them by the ounce never run out
Money it’s funny there’s never nuff around makin that sound (cha ching)
Dips tricks be makin me trip trip like sticks on the ground
Haters hate’n me makin me wanna thug out when I bug out
Voices be telling me “J it will give you clout then you’ll sell out”
Seemingly simply seedy CDs they sell so easy
So that’s what makes my ability just so appealin
To get you feelin this lyricism that got some feelin

We all struggle (back ground voices say “What”)
We all stumble
We all crumble
That’s why we all need a …
God Type Relation

You got two arms two legs
You got one body one head
Sounds like you got it all
Think not dawg
That’s what I said
Cuz if you breathin then you be needed of what I’m speakin
No freakin but luv that give you more than simple pleasing
Some one to help you when hurt pain and preasures squeezing
Sick or health poor or wealth facin these situations
Good and bad mad and sad we need this here relation
That’s why we all qualify so kill your hesitation

We all struggle (back ground voices say “What”)
We all stumble
We all crumble
That’s why we all need a …
God Type Relation
Somebody anybody everybody
Come on face it
I’m known to change your whole perception
Call me lassic
You can’t ignore
I’m at your door
Better open up dawg
listen up listen up
cuz I got more
looking inside of your body you see that flesh and blood
one day you gonna be deceased dawg you know wuts up
and I’m just trying to give you peace dawg
yo that’s wuts up
come and get and got it
it’s free so give it up

We all struggle (back ground voices say “What”)
We all stumble
We all crumble
That’s why we all need a …
God Type Relation

Wyl'n

Written By: Jeff H. Williams (JDUB)

This song is all about how we can have fun a bug out and not be about all the negativity that most associate with hip hop.

Hook:
I said we wyl'n we aint violent
And if yall don’t like it be silent
We get down we get around but we always reppin dat home town

I never raised a hand to smack a fan
but I’m tempted when they trippin about gangsterdom
it’s wack indeed I aint in the game for greed
we just wyl’n and providin what the people need
a different voice a different choice a different set
keep you bobbin and the only wet we get you is sweat
take our time to redefine the fine lines
hiphop is more than rhythm and rhyme
it’s more than guns it’s a way things auta be down
keep it luvly for the closest ones and if you wanna be close then show us some love
but if you don’t agree with me then shut ya mouth
cuz I aint got time for the haters about
who are made cuz they aint got no game or clout
we just blessed by God and that’s what I’m about
so if you go to a show prepare to bug out and get more hyper
than a babby fresh out
smackin the back side and make ya scream out
“Wyl’n” “Ooo ooo” until you fall out

Hook

No we aint no gangstas
No we aint no killas
We just kats with some raps with some hats pushed to the back
Then to the side, that’s how we ride now I’ma I’ma I’ma
I’ma tell you why
Cuz I was born mid west but raised down south
In that sunshine state MCs illuminate
Mic so hot it could cook pancakes
But hold up wait (oh)
Whats dis about
Three kats on stage and we wyl’n out
One black one Hispanic and an Anglo-Saxon
The Just Us league and we bringin the action
Now I don’t expect you to understand or even
Partial grasp these concepts at hand
Or why my T is extra long
And my vocal presents is extra strong
But if you gotta gold grill light it up
Put yourself in the cut and rip it up
Cuz we gonna wyl out till the sun comes up
We just wyl’n that’s our style and profil’n
Ha ha now you know

Hook

The only thing I’m killin is mics and beat
My lyrics are villains cuz they bringing the heat
Hotter than Java or melted lava
Originating strait out of the Gadadavida
Ma ma aribba aribba
let me see them tootsies roll until they steamin
got cha feignin to the point ya screamin
that’s how we do and nah you aint dreamin
keep your tempature beamin like the sunraise you got meaning
how we mic blaze but keep our reason we got hot flavor no need for season

hook
