"REVUE Magazine's - Top Ten To Watch"

"Country music creates an image in the listener's head-one of porch swings and gravel roads. The tracks penned by Kari Lynch are no exception. With the help of her band, Lynch released a self-titled EP, in May, with five original songs that showcase her talent. Lynch's strong voice skims over vocal embellishments like a well-tossed skipping-stone on songs like "I Never Liked You Anyway" and "Me and a Bottle of Wine," are a tribute to the tongue-in-cheek aspect of the genre." - REVUE Magazine

"Grand Rapids’ Kari Lynch at forefront of united country scene"

"Lynch is doing plenty to shine that light on this region’s country music, taking stage at a boatload of high-profile shows while spreading the word on her latest self-titled EP. (...) More of an old school country artist drawing influences from Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, her sounds has subtly bled into a number of additional genres fused in by her all-male back-up band that play a spectrum of styles from John Denver to classic rock." - West Michigan Noise Magazine

"Kari Lynch Band -Gonzo's TOP 5 Picks"

I’ve been a big fan of local country singer/songwriter Kari Lynch for a long time, and I remember recommending fans go see her during Festival of the Arts this summer. Trust me. As a former music critic and someone who has covered the Nashville music industry for years, I believe she has the potential to become the area’s next big star (following in the footsteps of Frankie Ballard). She has a great voice and killer band - Grand Rapids Press

"Grand Rapids' County Singer Kari Lynch and Band Release Elegant Music Video"

Lynch says it was “thrilling” filming the band’s music video for “Nowhere Now,” a debut locally produced and filmed in a barn on a fan’s property.

Kari Lynch and her band debuted the video Monday.

Kari Lynch might sing that she’s “goin’ nowhere now,” but if her slick music video debut catches fire, the Grand Rapids country singer and her band might be going plenty of places with their music.
Released on Monday and posted on YouTube, the elegantly produced video for the Kari Lynch Band’s “Nowhere Now” was filmed on the Bieker family property in Ada – arranged by a fan and member of the family, Katie Marble – with the band using a gorgeous barn as the setting for the project.
“It was awesome to shoot a video with my bandmates and best friends, the guys that I love making music with,” Lynch tells Local Spins of her “thrilling” video debut. “I think the coolest part was the way it all came together.”
The singer says there was also “a big emphasis on doing it local. Everyone who worked on the video is right here in Michigan, which was awesome.”

The “special version” of the original ballad – written by Lynch, Mike Ulvila and band guitarist Ryder Jones – was recorded at Joel Ferguson’s Planet Sunday Studios in Rockford, with Lansing’s Such Video producing the music video. It was directed by Such Video’s Dustin Foster. Check out the video below.
“The fans make everything happen for us,” says Lynch, noting that a fan also referred the band to Such Video. “I love that this video was a team effort from every angle — Kari Lynch Band, Such Video and the awesome, amazing fans that I have nothing but love for.”
Eventually, the band – Lynch, Jones, drummer Sam Briggs, bassist Jacob Meekhof and guitarist Matt Gabriel – hopes to release the video to Vevo and other networks, according to Lynch, who’s become one of West Michigan’s most popular country acts over the past three years, releasing two EPs and opening for the likes of The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert and Thompson Square.
The band opens for country star Thomas Rhett at The Intersection on Dec. 7 and will also play the New Year’s Eve celebration at The B.O.B.

I started writing music and singing when I was 7-years-old because it was the only way I knew how to figure out life. It’s a blessing that I get to perform original songs and have relentless, amazing fans who are so supportive in every aspect and always hungry for new music.”

Kari’s first acoustic EP, “one happy love song...” debuted on the iTunes “New and Noteworthy” list for country music in 2009 and stayed there for 6 weeks. Her most recent project, “Kari Lynch Band EP” was released in December 2012. The singles, “Sapphire Blues” and “Sincerely, Gone” co-written with lead guitarist, Ryder Jones, quickly gained radio play in regular rotation on many stations.
