Bio
After years of failed attempts at fitting himself into genre boxes that didn't work, KennyO started writing songs that just felt right to him. Growing up around 80's pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, Alt-Rock and Top 40 radio, his influences were vast. Artists like Lenny Kravitz, Maroon5, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson, John Mayer and Prince opened his world, shaped his unique musical style, tone, delivery and themes. In 2013 pop music unveiled itself as the common thread through his musical life and gave rise to Fiction. KennyO's debut EP is a short but sweet ride through that love for pop, lust for life, and this beautifully weird place that he calls home - San Francisco, CA.
