Bio

Hip Hop artist K-G was born and raised in the Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. He grew up in the poverty stricken Orchard Park projects, the same housing complex as famed singers New Edition Bobby Brown, his mother attended school with Brown. The eldest of 13 children, becoming responsible came naturally. In May 1991 K-G was in a severe car accident in Fall River, MA, along with his younger brother, mother, & 2 of his aunts. They were hit by a drunk driver running a stop sign. The small car flipped over 5 times before crashing literally inside the basement of a random home. Although one of his aunts sacrificed herself & badly cut part of her lips to make sure he didn't go straight through the windshield K-G still wears the scars from that fateful day on his face & is grateful for them because he knows things can be much worse. Since his younger brother was in a carseat he wasn't harmed, and his mother & his other were wearing seatbelts. Needless to say, it was a miracle that he didn't die at age 5, & by 4th grade he was on a local television educational game show "Link 4" After his father was given a 20 year sentence in 1991 for Continuing a Criminal Enterprise or "CCE", and his aunt Sharon (who saved his life in the car accident) dies of HIV/AIDS, young Kelvin was left with alot of responsibility, & his cousins turned him on to "hustlin". At age 12 it was the closest thing in the world to a job. By age 13 he wrote his first ryhme, by 17, dad was back, not with his mom but back in his life & they released "K-Mack & Bankroll Presents... The Streets' Diamonds. This began his official music career.
