"LEL Brothas Headlining World Tour"

Before west coast based hip-hop group LEL Brothas ventured out on a successful national tour where they performed as co-headliners alongside west coast heavyweights The Game and E-40, they were just two artists who desperately wanted to bring music to people in all parts of the world.

Since then, they have embarked on an audacious world tour of the Middle East, arranged by their business partner Calvin Bowers of CB5 Ent, which landed them as the first-ever hip-hop group to perform in Saudi Arabia. They performed at the U.S. Embassy as well as the U.S. Ambassador’s Residence and were dubbed “Cultural Ambassadors of American Hip-Hop Culture” by the U.S. State Department.

Consisting of DJ Clone and LBC, as well as their hype man CB5, the members all originate from southern California, they went on to be the first-ever hip-hop group to be broadcast live on Saudi Arabia Television. They also found themselves in Bahrain the day after Marshall Law was lifted, the streets still lined with military soldiers with automatic weapons and a shoot-first-ask-questions-later type policy.

Currently in the midst of their second world tour, this time focusing on eastern Asia, the group has Singapore, Mylasia, Philappeans and Japan all scheduled on their itinerary before their final show in April 2012. They will perform one show only in America, on October 23rd 2011 at the Indian Steele Park in Phoenix, Arizona where they are expected to play for an audience of 25,000 - 30,000 people at the American Arab Festival.

LEL Brothas are promoting their latest album, The Epidemic, which features music from super-producer Wade Martin. Wade Martin is best known for his work with G-Unit and Nas, among others, and as Co-owner of IME Records with DMC of Run DMC. - Dub CNN

"American Hip hop Group LEL Brothas Makes History in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia), While on Their Epidemic World Tour"

American Hip hop group, The LEL Brothas have been working with super producer Wade Martin (http://www.wademartin.com) since early 2006. Subsequently, two major albums have been released and The LEL Brothas are currently touring with the album “The Epidemic.” They recently crossed boundaries that have never been broken before. From late May to early June, 2011, The LEL Brothas infected the Middle East with their music, becoming the first Hip hop group EVER to perform in Saudi Arabia in a major, public concert. Achieving a level of greatness that few hiphop legends ever attain.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 16, 2011

In May of 2011 the LEL Brothas hit the Middle East for a leg of their world tour. After hitting major venues around the Persian Gulf, including Chi at the Lodge in Dubai and Club Cielo in Bahrain The LEL Brothas reached the climax on this leg of their tour by crossing onto Saudi sand.

Organized in part by Out of Home Advertising, The LEL Brothas performed at three different venues in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Right off the plane they were rushed to the American International School in Riyadh. At this event the LEL Brothas performed for several hundred students from around the globe.

That night they appeared at the US Embassy making Hip hop history by becoming the first group of that genre ever to perform a concert, open to the public approved by the Saudi Arabian government. The Saudi government is known for not allowing concerts within the Kingdom.

During the final show The LEL Brothas again made history, by being named American Cultural Ambassadors for the United States of America, for pioneer presentations of hip hop in the Kingdom. Performing at the US Ambassadors House in front of over 200 Saudi Nationals, this unique show was opened by the U.S. Ambassador talking about Hip Hop culture in the USA.

The LEL Brothas hype man, CB5 (http://www.Ghettopassradio.com), was first up elucidating the four elements of Hip hop, demonstrating them for the audience. Following him, Willie Beamin expanded upon those definitions.

After a brief intermission, The LEL Brothas finalized the event with a headline performance of many of their hit singles. Soon, the younger members of the audience began to clear out a dance floor, and after the show the LEL Brothas were mobbed by the crowd, and a young aspiring Saudi rapper spit his lyrics for the LEL Brothas.

Interviews with KSA Channel 2 News Riyadh, Saudi Newspapers and other media outlets from the Middle East and the Philippines followed, and The LEL Brothas again made history in a region that has recently been rocked by political unrest, governmental overthrows and the death of extremist Osama Bin Laden.

“It was awesome representing the entire US Hip hop culture to people who have never been exposed to this movement before,” DJ Clone stated with glowing demeanor. “Hip hop is my life. We were honored to represent the American Hip hop movement as well as the LEL Nation.” Fellow group member, LBC, stated, “To make history and to see the looks on people's faces, who have never seen a hip hop show before, made all the hard work and dedication it took to get here worth while.”

The LEL Brothas have many more stops planned for their Epidemic World Tour. And taking a break from the international scene, on July 30th in Los Angeles, they will headline the LA Teen Music Summit (http://www.teenmusicsummit.com/ ) in a show produced by Project KINDLE, that will benefit Childhood AIDS..

The tour is being filmed by Frank Leupold of Pasturegate Productions. Leupold has been assembling a documentary on CB5 since the early 2000’s, and began following the LEL Brothas in early 2007, when they began working with CB5. Scheduled release date is in 2012, helping all to become the movement so infectious that even LEL Fans have begun to dress as zombies to attend shows, demonstrating their assimilation into the LEL Nation (Zombie Army).
