Lonesomeville

Written By: Les Sampou

lonesomeville i was walking on thin ice at the end of the world when you held out your hand to me i don’t know what you’re giving or how much but baby i bet it ain’t free don’t call it love who wants the curse call it need and quench my thirst i call your name you fall apart don’t call it love and break my heart i’m through with lonely done with scared an empty heart’s hard to fill break me open rob me blind no vacancy at lonesomeville i don’t care what you call it now i just don’t give a damn about the places of the heart bird of prey idiot savant or truck stop lover how can i tell you apart you’re hot as hell boy and cold as ice a mixed up sick of love man love sick be half-hearted you outsmarted me i guess that was the plan
