Bio

Mr. Gepetto is made up of 4 high school seniors all determined to make it in music who all share the belief that mainstream music needs to return back to rock, back to music that requires real musicians to be able to play it, not computer synths and auto tuned voices. Mr. Gepetto intends to help give people that push back into that good rock music with songs requiring technical prowess, time and tempo changes, and above all those hard rock roots that make a song hit you in the head and listen! The band has been playing together since 6th grade and began to gig as Mr. Gepetto early 2009. They recorded their first full length cd early 2009 consisting of 8 original songs. The recordings were done completely by them at one of the member's houses. They have won a few battle of the bands in their hometown of Fort Worth and in Dallas. If you want a real rock show Mr. Gepetto is ready to play anytime anywhere. "We're young we know what we want and we intend to get there at all cost!" Don't be mistaken however, for while these guys are serious about their music, on stage they have a comical side similar to that of Blink 182 to keep the crowd involved in the show, having a good and memorable time.

Recently Mr. Gepetto has gone on to win a 30 band Battle of the Bands called "The Next Big Thing" @ The Loft at The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, TX. The prize was 20 hours studio time at Kitchen Studios in Dallas where the band recorded some old songs again as well as two new songs "Chains" and the newest single "Higher View". Mr. Gepetto also played at the House of Blues in Dallas, TX at the first annual Texas High School Rock Off that was hosted by Angela Chase from 97.1 The Eagle and the lead singer of Forever the Sickest Kids.

Influences Include: Metallica, Van Halen, Alterbridge, Dream Theater, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Led Zeppelin, Streetlight Manifesto, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen, Myles Kennedy, Eddie Vedder, Pete Townshend, Layne Staley, and Chris Cornell
