Naftaly is releasing his eagerly awaited debut solo single Wish on the 28th of March.
He will be performing at MKVibe Records Single Release Party, taking place at First Base Xscape Milton Keynes on Thursday 7 April 2011.
Naftaly was born and raised in IJsselstein, The Netherlands. Music got a hold of Naftaly very early listening to the Stray Cats and Smokey even before he went to foundation school. It was music played by his father and mother that made him appreciate the different styles as both of them had different preferences (Rock, Soul, Classic etc). Music was definitely encouraged and he was sent off to a music school to learn and play the guitar around his tenth year, round these years he also joined a children’s choir at school.
In the beginning of 2007 Naftaly became a lyricist for D Music. He wrote songs like "Alone", "Move Your Body","Whatever They Want", "Springtime
Solitude", "Clouds & Colours" to name some and three years later he is still writing for her. Mostly due to his writing for D Music, he challenged himself and wrote "Everything".
Naftaly, who now lives in Abingdon, is a new up and coming artist with amazing talent, his style of music is mid- and up-tempo, RnB/Pop/Dance.

Naru hails from The Netherlands with roots from West-Papua and is a new and upcoming artist!
Naru formerly known as Naftaly has worked alongside MKVibe Records, participated on international collaborations, experiencing multiple genres and song writing for other artists. A new chapter a new sound within the Dance and Dub step genres and also RnB, THIS IS NARU!
Next to continuously developing as ...a singer/songwriter he is promoting promising talented vocalists from the Pacific like Australia, Caledonia, East Timor, Fiji, Maluku, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and West Papua for his project "1Nesian" and "Pacific Jamz”". This resulted in Revel Core, founded by Naru ( www.revelcore.com) within this platform Naru aims to promote Pacific artists in Europe.
As a songwriter he has been writing on projects for D Music since 2007, such as the songs "Alone", Move Your Body”, “Clouds & Colours", Springtime Solitude". D Music features on his track "Everything" recorded in The Netherlands (2008), written by Naru and produced by Al Fraser ( www.smoothbeatsonly.com).
His music is smooth between mid- and up-tempo with a mix of Dance, Dubstep, Electronica and RnB.

He did his first UK performance in Cambridge and showcased himself on the single release party of MKVIBE in Milton Keynes. He is also eager to present himself to the rest of the UK! Naru has been invited to several other projects from artists within Europe but also Asia and the Pacific and is appearing on various albums with singles to be released in the near future.
There are some more interesting projects scheduled for 2012 and one of them will be with DJ/Producer Akay47 from Papua New Guinea. Currently two productions from Brian McCarthy have been recorded Dance 4 Life and Now or Never, with the aim to release these in 2012!
His debut single "Wish" which was released officially on the 28th of March 2011 via iTunes and has been followed up with a Reggae Remix produced by Fourth Dimension, which has secured himself a spot in the Top 20 Pacifique. "Wish" has featured on the SRT SHOW (Kbit Radio), Artist on the Rise Radio Show (360 Productions) and has just recently been added to a Podcast. There is also a house remix of Wish performed by Brian McCarthy (DJ Antyx).
More is to come as Naru is working on new material and is also featuring on the compilation album called "Pacific Jamz" with established artists from all over the Pacific! This album was officially released on Fifty100 ( www.fifty100.com/pacificjamz) and put together by Naru. He is supported by DJ Cruzfader who hosted Naru's first mixtape "Bounce N Sweet" and he is looking to promote his music in The Pacific in 2012 but also in the clubs of Europe!
