"Noah Caine: The Pre-Season"

I met Noah (who hails from Southside, Jamaica Queens) during The Dopehouse last Friday (man, that shit was a zoo) who told me briefly about his music (like many other artists down there). Unlike the many other artists down there, however, he actually sent me his stuff. - 2DopeBoyz

"Noah Caine: The Genesis"

It's been an exciting week for Queens following the release of NaS' Life Is Good LP. But now another native out of Q-Borough, Noah Caine, looks to etch his name among New York's infamouss Hip-Hop artist. After half a year waiting, Noah finally releases the visuals to 'The Genesis', the standout track off his latest project called The Preseason, directed by Sean Phazes of A Common Good Films. Don't think that will be all from the young MC; all his efforts are designed as a prelude for the release of his upcoming LP titled Rookie Season..

With the emergence young MC's out of the melting pot of New York, Noah Caine (backed by his beloved Queens) looks to be among the fresh new upstarts such as Harlem's A$AP Rocky, Brooklyn's Joey Bada$$, the Bronx's Chief Major. Steady!

"NOAH CAINE – “LAST OF A DYING BREED”"

If you remember, Noah Caine’s last mixtape was The Pre-Season. Well, his latest single “Last Of A Dying Breed” might as well be the damn finals. Emitting energy equivalent to an Olympic training session in a nuclear power plant, this Queens representer goes for broke atop an instrumental that basically stares down other beats and finds this hungry up & comer throwing blows at any adversary that happens to be standing in the way of his route to a ring.

If you’re smart, you’ll steer clear of Caine’s path of destruction and simply ride out to this heat rock.

"THE 3 BEST SUBMISSIONS FROM LAST NIGHT"

This Charli Brown-produced beat sets things off right from the start and Noah matches it with a confident, no-bullshit delivery.

The easy comparison is Nas, but Noah’s flow has a captivating, urgent intensity of its own. This was one of the first submissions I got tonight, and I’m already digging around looking for a Noah Caine mixtape download. - Pigeons And Planes

"Noah Caine: The Pre-Season"

Queens MC; Noah Caine has been hard at work putting together a precursor to his Rookie Season LP debuting later this year. For now Noah drops off ‘The Pre-Season’, a 12 track mixtape serving as a journey, as he puts it, “…traveling with through brief moments of introspection as well as spurts of aspiration.” - The Source Magazine

"From Joey Bada$$ to Skyzoo & Torae, 5 Anticipated NYC Albums of 2013"

New York City, long considered the epicenter of hip-hop, has “fallen off.” Or that’s what the critics, DJs, and “tastemakers” have been saying year after year. Active hip-hop listeners understand that in 2012, the New York City rap scene was as vibrant as it’s ever been. Nas overcame his personal demons to release a well-received album in "Life is Good". Action Bronson took the rap game by storm with two mixtapes that delivered him an album deal with Warner Brothers. The Beast Coast movement roared into prominence by the end of the year.

With that said, 2013 is gearing up to be perhaps an even bigger year for the Mecca as a whole. With that said, these are the five albums* that I’m looking out for with much anticipation.

Honorable Mention: Noah Caine "Rookie Season"

Here’s one more name: Noah Caine. He’s from Southside Jamaica, Queens, and he is a pure lyricist at heart. “The Genesis”, off his mixtape The Pre-Season, embodies the core of what Noah represents as an artist, an energetic rhymer with a ton of talent and a unique vision. Noah's Rookie Season is gearing up to be a project that takes this identity and brings it to the next level. - Refined Hype

Bio

They say what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. In the case of artist Noah Caine, what didn't kill him, not only made him stronger, it found its way into his music.

At the tender age of 10, Noah's home in Flatbush, Brooklyn was riddled by bullets in a drive-by shooting. The following year, he and his family moved to the notorious neighborhood of Southside Jamaica in Queens. This is where he would call home. Noah channeled the pain of that ordeal into his newly discovered talent for rhyming. He learned early that he had an affinity for jazz and classic R&B, and quickly fell in love with the music of legends like Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker and Nina Simone. He was also a devoted follower of hip hop and its culture. Rap greats like The Notorious B.I.G., Nas, Black Thought and Mos Def were always in heavy rotation. All of which are influences you can hear reflected in his own music.

Caine's most recent release "The Pre-Season" has been well received in his hometown as well as on the online hip hop outlets such as The Source Magazine, 2Dopeboyz, etc. The project received over 3,000 + downloads within its first month and has led to performances at some of New York City's legendary venues like Webster Hall, Brooklyn's Southpaw, Public Assemby, as well as Santo's Party House in Manhattan and more.

Noah Caine's upcoming 2013 release "Rookie Season" has been herald by Refined Hype as a highly anticipated album of the year and Noah has been stamped "Unsigned Hype" by Best of Both Offices.
